Three days of live art with music, performances and installations across the Morgan Arcade, part of tactileBOSCH's 25th-anniversary programme.
tactileBOSCH are taking over the upper floors of The Morgan Arcade from Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 October, three days of live art running from 14:00 to 22:00 each day. They've called this particular takeover Wanderers' Library, and the name is a nod to the building itself: the arcade is 160 years old and was once home to Cardiff's first public library. These days those upper floors sit largely hidden above one of the city's most familiar shopping arcades, so it's a bit of a hidden-in-plain-sight spot.
Across the three days, the programme mixes live art, performative walks, sound and radio. It's run in partnership with Cardiff Council and forms part of Fist Inside the Velvet Glove, tactileBOSCH's 25th-anniversary programme. That anniversary marks a quarter-century of experimental performance, live art, sound, installation and time-based practice from Wales' leading live art organisation. If you've followed their work over the years, you'll know that's a broad church to cover, and this takeover brings a good chunk of it under one roof.

Alongside the new live works, there's the tB25 Archive, which pulls fragments of tactileBOSCH's 25-year history into the space. It's a chance to see where they've come from as much as what they're doing now, with the archive sitting alongside the active performances. The whole thing runs from 14:00 to 22:00 on Thursday 15, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October, at The Morgan Arcade (the upper floors), Morgan Quarter, Cardiff, CF10 1AF.
