Direct from London's West End, the first national tour of classic musicals with a live band and sing-along screen.
Sing The Musicals comes to the New Theatre on Wednesday 14 October, starting at 19:30. It's the first national tour of the show, which is built around the greatest musicals of all time, performed by a live band and character singers with a giant screen displaying sing-along lyrics for the audience to follow. The whole thing is designed for you to join in rather than just watch from your seat.
It's a direct transfer from London's West End, where it played to critical acclaim. The reviews from that run described it as 'the must see show of 2024/25', with some calling it 'Best Night Ever', 'Electrifying' and 'Every Musical Theatre Fan's Dream Come True'. That West End run is what's now heading out on tour, and this Cardiff date is part of that first national outing.

On the night, the live band provides the music, and the character singers lead the way through a selection of musical theatre classics. The sing-along screen keeps the lyrics in front of you, so you can sing along with the songs you know without having to memorise them first. It's a straightforward setup: a live band, singers on stage, and the lyrics on screen for everyone to follow. The show starts at 19:30 at the New Theatre, with the performance running on Wednesday 14 October.
