Robert White

Robert White is playing the Wales Millennium Centre on Thursday 15 October, as part of a tour of a brand new show. He's a stand-up comedian and performer who first came to prominence through his series on Britain's Got Talent, where he became one of the show's most popular online figures, drawing millions of viewers. The Cardiff date is presented by Little Wander.

White bills himself as 'THAT Gay Autistic Keyboard Tanktop Comedy Guy', and the description fits the act. He's known for a restless, eclectic stage presence that mixes songs, stories, stand-up, gags, props, improvisation and audience interaction. It's not a standard stand-up set; the songs and the keyboard are as much a part of it as the jokes, and the improvisation means no two nights end up the same. This is a brand new show he's taking on tour, so you'll be seeing the material as it's being road-tested.

The Cardiff show is in the Cabaret at the Wales Millennium Centre, on Bute Place. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm, with a running time of about 90 minutes including an interval. Tickets start from £20, and it's recommended for ages 18 and over.
