Stand-up comedy show Yo-Yo Tour by award-winning comedy star Laura Lexx, suitable for ages 18+ due to strong language.
Laura Lexx brings her Yo-Yo Tour to the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay on Saturday 6 November. It's a stand-up comedy show, and she's the sole bill on the night.
Lexx is coming off the back of Slinky, a critically acclaimed show that took Best Show at the Women in Comedy Festival and earned two nominations for Best International Debut at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. If you haven't seen her before, she's a multi-award-winning comedy star with a fair few accolades to her name: Best Show at the Women in Comedy Festival 2024, Best MC at the Comics Comic Award in 2018 and 2019, Best Compere at the Chortle Awards, and Best Show at the Amused Moose Awards. She's spent a good chunk of her career on the MC side of things, so she knows how to hold a room.
Beyond the festivals, she's a regular on the telly. You'll recognise her from Mock The Week, Live at The Apollo and Hypothetical on the BBC, as well as Roast Battle on Comedy Central, the NZ International Comedy Gala and 7 Days on Three. That's a lot of different rooms and styles, and it's a good sense of where she sits: right in the middle of the stand-up circuit.

The show is in the Cabaret space at the Wales Millennium Centre, which is the same building that houses the Donald Gordon Theatre and the Weston Studio. It starts at 8pm, with doors opening at 7pm, so there's plenty of time to get in and settle before she takes the stage. One thing to keep in mind: it's for ages 18+ and contains strong language, so it's not one to bring the kids along to.
