Kemah Bob returns with her second stand-up comedy show, an intimate yet rowdy tour through her chaotic childhood, directed by Alison Spittle.
Kemah Bob brings her second stand-up show, Love Child, to the Wales Millennium Centre on Sunday 14 March. It's a high-energy hour that she describes as an intimate yet rowdy tour through her chaotic childhood, and it's being presented by Berk's Nest in association with Sophie Chapman Talent, with Alison Spittle directing.
If you haven't come across her yet, Bob has been making a name for herself over the last couple of years. Love Child was named one of the ten best comedy shows of 2024 by The Guardian, and in that same year she was nominated for the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. Since then, she's popped up on a fair few telly shows: QI, Richard Osman's House of Games, Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club, Comedy Central Live, Don't Hate The Playaz, and Guessable. You'll also find her on the Off Menu podcast if you fancy a listen before the night.
The show is for ages 18 and over, and it's held in the Cabaret at the Wales Millennium Centre, which is a smaller, more enclosed space than the main auditorium. Seating is unreserved, so you'll just take whatever's free when you arrive. There are discounts for disabled people, students, under-30s and those who are unwaged, and you can get group savings if you're bringing a crowd. Carers and companions get free tickets through the Hynt access scheme.

Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before she takes the stage. It's a Sunday night in Cardiff, and if you're after a high-energy hour of stand-up, this is one to keep on your radar.
