Stand-up comedy show Nothing Heavy by Jack Skipper at the Sherman Theatre.
Jack Skipper is bringing his new show, Nothing Heavy, to the Sherman Theatre on Saturday 30 January 2027. It's his first time back on the road since his debut tour sold out, and he's coming off a spot on Live at the Apollo, so this is a brand-new set rather than a repeat of the old one.
Skipper describes the show as relatable stand-up, and the material centres on trying to make sense of life, getting older, and everything in between. It's the kind of stuff that works because it's familiar ground — the small, everyday things that most of us are figuring out as we go. If you've seen him before, this is the next chapter; if you're new to his work, it's a good place to start.
He's built a huge following online, with over 13 million likes on TikTok alone, so while he's well-known on social media, this is a chance to see the material played out on a proper stage. The show is just him up front, and the focus is on the storytelling and the observations rather than any big production.
