A night of burlesque, drag, circus and sideshow entertainment with international talent, presented as a Wales Millennium Centre production.
How To Survive a Horror Movie comes to the Cabaret at Wales Millennium Centre on Saturday 24 October, a night of burlesque, drag, circus and sideshow. It's a Wales Millennium Centre production, and the whole thing is built around the tropes of the slasher flick: the show asks whether you're the 'final girl' or perhaps the killer, and describes the night as chilling, thrilling and a little bit deadly.
The line-up brings together international talent, with Cadbury Parfait, Fruit n Fibre, LaLa L'More, Rotten Peach and Ivy Groove all on the bill. Between them they cover the burlesque, drag, circus and sideshow that make up the night, so it's a fair bit of ground to cover in one go. It's not just a single act, but a full cabaret of different performers.
Fancy dress is encouraged, and there's a prize for it on the night, so if you've got a horror-themed outfit you've been waiting for an excuse to wear, this is a good one. It's also part of a wider Halloween cabaret the centre is running in the Cabaret space: this is the Saturday half, with A Vaguely SpooOooky Halloween on Friday 23 October.
