Hannah East's new comedy show, a hilarious deep dive into the highs and lows of parenting, featuring relatable mum impressions and fearless wit.
Hannah East brings her new comedy show, Express Yourself, to the New Theatre on Saturday 17 October, starting at 7:30pm. It's a deep dive into the highs and lows of parenting, and it's built around the online following she's gathered over the years.
If you've come across her reels, you'll know the territory she covers. The sketches run from pregnancy and labour through to breastfeeding and the postpartum struggles that follow, and then into the everyday challenges of raising children. She does it with a warm-hearted tone, a fair few relatable mum impressions, and a fearless wit. The draw is that she says what mums are really thinking but rarely say out loud, and that's exactly what she's bringing to the stage here.
East wears a few different hats: she's a sports presenter, a stand-up comedian, an impressionist, and an online fitness trainer, and her comedy has picked up millions of views across her viral reels. Express Yourself draws on that online presence, taking the themes she's been exploring in short form and expanding them into a full show. It's presented by Phil McIntyre Live.
