Cardiff's ultimate Goth Wave night returns for its annual Halloween edition with Plastic Estate DJs, featuring post-punk, 80s, cold wave, dark wave, goth and synth wave.
Disintegration returns to Clwb Ifor Bach on Friday 23 October, back for its annual Halloween edition. It's billed as Cardiff's ultimate Goth Wave night, and this is the one that falls right in the Halloween window, so it's the natural time to turn up for it.
Plastic Estate DJs are taking the helm, and the music they work with sits firmly in the darker end of the spectrum. The set leans on post-punk, 80s, cold wave, dark wave, goth and synth wave, so it's a night built around the moodier, more atmospheric side of the dancefloor. If you're into the colder, more synthetic sounds of the 80s and the post-punk that grew out of them, this is the kind of thing that'll hit the mark.

It runs from 11:00pm to 4:00am, so it's a late one that carries on well into the early hours. The venue is Clwb Ifor Bach, 11 Womanby St, CF10 1BR, right in the centre of town. It's strictly over-18s, and last entry is at 2:00am, so if you're coming in later, you'll want to make sure you're through the door before then. Tickets are between £3.50 and £5.50, depending on when you get them.
