Slash brings his Flying Blind World Tour to Cardiff Castle, featuring songs from his new album 'Flying Blind' and classic rock hits.
Slash is bringing Cardiff Castle back into the rock 'n' roll fold on Wednesday 30 June 2027, as part of his Flying Blind World Tour. He'll be playing with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, the band he's been touring and recording with for years, and the date is the third one confirmed so far for next summer's DEPOT Live run at the castle, which is promoted with Cuffe and Taylor.
The set leans on the new album, Flying Blind, which comes out on 26 February. Slash describes it as "a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock 'n' roll record. It's very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw." The show pairs songs from that record with the riffs that made him a household name, so you'll get the new material alongside the older stuff. The billing promises big solos, bigger singalongs, and a proper rock night inside the castle walls, with the guitarist himself billed as "one of the greatest of all time."
It's part of a bigger summer for the venue. DEPOT Live's 2026 season across Cardiff Castle and Blackweir drew around 193,000 people over 24 shows, and founder Nick Saunders says the castle "provides the perfect backdrop" for the series. This is the third act announced for the 2027 run, so there's more to come.
