Deeva D

Deeva D brings his Delights cabaret revue to the Wales Millennium Centre on Saturday 20 November, with the show starting at 8pm and doors opening from 7pm. It's an over-18s night, and the venue is the Cabaret space within the centre, so it's a bit more tucked away than the main stage.

Deeva D describes the evening as his "personal playground of excitement, sultriness and camp comedy", and he's not on his own. He's joined by a selection of his favourite delights from across the UK, with Lena Lenman, Freida Slaves, Lili Del Fflur, Wan Long Kok, Bonnie Darkhoe and Blu La Loux all on the bill. It's a cabaret revue, so it's a variety show rather than a single act, and the mix is exactly what the title suggests: soulful vocals, electric burlesque and strip-tease. He says it's a night that encourages the room to be "naughty, nice and always a little spicy".

There are a few practical things to keep in mind before you book. It's strictly for over-18s, and the seating is unreserved, so you'll take whatever's left when you arrive. There are warnings for possible bad language and strobe or flashing lights, so if either of those are a problem, it's worth knowing beforehand. On the accessibility side, the Hynt scheme is in place, which gives free tickets for carers and companions, and discounts for disabled people, students, under-30s and unwaged attendees, as well as for groups of ten or more. If you're coming with a crowd, that group discount is definitely one to check out.

So, Deeva D and his Delights are at the Wales Millennium Centre on Saturday 20 November, 8pm, doors 7pm, over-18s only.
