Stand-up comedy show by Dan Tiernan, a Manchester comedian nominated for Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.
Dan Tiernan brings his new show, Quartz And All, to the Wales Millennium Centre on Thursday 11 March 2027. He's a Manchester comedian whose act draws on being a gay, dyspraxic Mancunian working in a care home for young asylum seekers. It's a specific set of things to build a show around, and he's spent the last few years doing exactly that.
He's built his following at the Edinburgh Fringe with a hat trick of sold-out runs and shows titled Going Under (2023), Stomp (2024) and All In (2025). Along the way, he was named a breakthrough act at the North West Comedy Awards after making the finals of the new act competitions at the Leicester and Bath comedy festivals and London's Leicester Square Theatre. The Guardian has called him 'one of comedy's most distinctive new voices'.
He's also become a regular on the telly, with appearances on Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg and QI. The awards have kept coming too: he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2023, and for Best Comedy Show in 2023, 2025 and 2026. Quartz And All is his latest run.
