Stand-up comedy night featuring Paul Hilleard, Sikisa, Rohan Sharma and Rich Wilson, curated by Little Wander.
Cardiff Comedy Club returns to Cabaret at the Wales Millennium Centre on Thursday 26 November, with the night curated by Little Wander. If that name doesn't ring a bell, they're the brains behind the Machynlleth Comedy Festival, and they've put together a bill of four stand-ups that they describe as weird, wonderful and wildly funny, built on surreal stories and sharp observations.
Paul Hilleard is on MC duties, billed as a dry Welsh oddball who was a BBC New Comedian of the Year in 2024. He's joined by Sikisa, a BBC New Comedy Award Finalist and winner of the 99 Club Bursary in 2022, and Rohan Sharma, who's taken his act across the UK and written for Radio 4 Extra. Rounding it out is Rich Wilson, who's drawn praise from Frank Skinner and the Leicester Mercury. Between them, that's four distinct voices on one bill, so the night should hold up even if one particular style doesn't quite land for you.
The venue is the Donald Gordon Theatre, the stage within the Wales Millennium Centre dedicated to the Cabaret programme of comedy nights. It's the city's main theatre, that copper-clad building in Cardiff Bay that hosts West End musicals, opera, ballet and local performances, so this is one of those nights that brings a comedy club feel into a proper theatre setting. Seating is unreserved, so you'll just take whatever spot you can find on the night.

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm, and it's an 18+ room, so keep that in mind if you're planning a group. It's a Thursday night in the Bay, so you've got plenty of time to grab a drink nearby before heading in.
