Comedy magician Pete Firman brings his new show 'Jokus Pocus', packed with magic and comedy, to Cambridge Junction.
Pete Firman brings his new comedy magic show, Jokus Pocus, to Cambridge Junction on Thursday 9 March 2028. It's a brand-new show, so you'll be seeing material he's put together specifically for this run rather than a set he's been touring for years. The night is built around three things: magic, sleight of hand, and comedy, and the title gives you a fair idea of how they sit together.
Firman is a Middlesbrough native who's built one of the largest audiences in British magic, with over 10 million social media followers and more than a billion views online. Much of that reach comes from the kind of short, sharp clips that work well on a screen, but Jokus Pocus is the full-length stage version. His television work runs from Tonight at the London Palladium, The Next Great Magician, and The John Bishop Show through to a role in Amazon's Good Omens.
The press has been pretty clear about where he fits. The Telegraph called him "the new poster-boy for British comedy magic", and The Times described him as "the man from Middlesbrough [who] sets the pace for comedy-meets-magic in the 21st century". Both point to the same thing: he's not just doing tricks and not just telling jokes, but working the two together.

It's a 7:30pm start in J2, which is unreserved seating, so you'll want to get there a bit early if you have a preference for where you sit. Tickets are £29.50, with a £26 concession. The show is for ages 11 and over, and if you're a Junction member, you can get yours before they go on general sale.
