Cinema screening of André Rieu's Christmas concert 'Let It Snow', filmed at his Winter Palace in Maastricht, with festive classics, waltzes and an interview with Rieu.
André Rieu is coming to The Light Cinema in Cambridge for two special screenings on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December, both starting at 14:00. It's a cinema event rather than a live gig, with his 2026 Christmas concert, Let It Snow, shown on the big screen as part of a run across more than 500 cinemas in the UK.
The concert was filmed at Rieu's Winter Palace in his hometown of Maastricht, and the footage shows the hall turned into a seasonal wonderland: glittering chandeliers, Christmas trees, Venetian candelabras, falling snow, two ice rinks with live skaters, dancers and festive décor. On stage, Rieu is joined by his Johann Strauss Orchestra, sopranos, a powerful male choir and special guest Emma Kok. The setlist pulls from the festive classics, with 'All I Want for Christmas', 'Feliz Navidad', 'Jingle Bells' and 'Silent Night' alongside his usual waltzes and a few surprises.
Broadcaster Charlotte Hawkins, known from Classic FM and Good Morning Britain, presents the whole thing. She takes the audience behind the scenes through Maastricht's Christmas markets and shares an exclusive interview with André that's only available in the cinema screenings. The whole thing runs for 2 hours 57 minutes, so it's a proper afternoon out rather than a quick stop.

It's a cinema screening, so you'll be watching the recorded performance from Maastricht on the big screen at The Light Cinema rather than seeing Rieu in the flesh. Both dates are at 14:00, so if you're planning a trip, you'll be in and out well before tea.
