A two-hour circus show with aerialists, acrobats and jugglers; all ticket money goes to Children In Need.
The Uplifted Circus Show comes to The Trinity Centre on Sunday 31 January, a two-hour circus show that brings together aerialists, acrobats and jugglers under one roof. It's a full afternoon of variety, with the aerial work taking to the air, the acrobats on the floor and the jugglers in between, so you'll see a good range of circus disciplines rather than just one thing on repeat.
What makes this one a bit different from your usual night out is where the money goes. All ticket proceeds go to Children In Need, so every pound you spend on a ticket goes straight to the charity. It's one of those events that works as a family outing just as well as a proper night out with friends, and since it's a Sunday afternoon, it fits into the day without eating up your whole evening.
If you're not usually one for the circus, this is a decent place to start. You've got the aerialists working overhead, the acrobats on the ground, and the jugglers in the mix, all within a single two-hour show. It's a broad spread of what circus does, and because it's all for Children In Need, it's a good way to see some live performance and support a cause at the same time.
