Live concert by Glaswegian folk-fusion band Talisk, celebrating a decade on the road.
Talisk play the Trinity Centre on Thursday 3 December, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. They're a Glaswegian folk-fusion trio — Mohsen Amini on concertina, Benedict Morris on fiddle and Charlie Galloway on guitar — and this show marks a decade on the road.
It's a fair bit of ground to cover. Over the last ten years they've built a reputation for an explosively energetic sound, one they describe as redefining contemporary folk. The numbers back it up: more than 15 million streams and 10,000 albums sold worldwide, with sold-out shows across five continents and headline festival appearances. They've picked up five awards from BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Scotland, and two BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards. Their BBC One Hogmanay show at New Year 2022 reached more than a million viewers.

They've been playing bigger rooms lately. In 2025 they played Glasgow's OVO Hydro and Glastonbury, and in 2024 they headlined the Barrowland Ballroom during the Celtic Connections festival. The Bristol show is standing and is for ages 14 and over, with under-18s accompanied by an adult. Tickets are £22.50 in advance plus fees.
