Stand-up comedy show by Samira Banks, winner of the So You Think You're Funny? award, at The Gaffe Comedy Club.
Samira Banks is playing The Gaffe Comedy Club on Saturday 31 October, with her show Not Banking On It taking the main slot. She's a winner of the So You Think You're Funny? award, and this is a stand-up set. If you've come across her name before, this is the full show rather than a short spot on a mixed bill.
The Gaffe Comedy Club is one of Bristol's newer dedicated comedy venues, sitting on the edge of Broadmead and Bristol Old City. It's a spot that bills itself as a comedy club first and foremost, and it keeps a busy schedule, programming comedy almost every day of the week. The line-up there runs from up-and-coming underground acts to the bigger touring headliners who take the late-night weekend slots, so it's a place that sees a fair bit of variety across its calendar.

Banks' show Not Banking On It is the main feature of the night, and it's her name on the bill. The venue is at 20 Wine St, BS1 2BD, in the heart of the city, so it's an easy one to get to whether you're coming from the centre or heading in from further out. The date is Saturday 31 October, and the show is part of the club's regular run of comedy.
