Modern country live-band experience celebrating big names in country music, performed by a full band with fiddle and pedal steel.
Nashville At Heart is playing The Trinity Centre on Tuesday 10 November, part of a six-date UK tour. They call it the Modern Country's Greatest Hits Tour, and the setlist makes that clear: they're working through the hits of Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Shania Twain, Lainey Wilson, Rascal Flatts and early Taylor Swift. It's a full band on stage, with fiddle and pedal steel rather than backing tracks, and the show runs about two hours and twenty minutes including the interval.
The whole thing is built around the songs filling arenas today rather than country's back catalogue, so it's the sound of the current charts rather than the old standards. The set mixes heartfelt acoustic moments with huge singalongs, all held together by that Nashville-inspired production. It's produced by The Live Music Co., and the Bristol date is one of six on this November run; the show is also bookable for theatres, arts centres and festivals outside those dates, and a 2024 run took it to twenty-two venues across November.
The night is at The Trinity Centre, a Grade II* listed former church in East Bristol that's been at the heart of the city's music scene since the 1970s. It's hosted movements like dub, ska, jungle and the Bristol Sound, with Joy Division, The Specials, Prodigy and Public Enemy among its past acts. It remains one of Bristol's last independent venues and has operated as a multi-arts and community centre since 2004.
