Rising British soul artist MT Jones brings a timeless sound with classic soul, R&B and jazz textures, presented by Communion ONE.
MT Jones plays Lantern Hall on Friday 16 October, presented by Communion ONE. He's a rising British soul artist whose sound draws on the warmth of classic 1960s and 1970s soul, weaving in modern R&B and jazz textures. It's rooted in live instrumentation and heartfelt songwriting, and he's already been tipped as one to watch for 2026. His live shows are billed as intimate and emotionally charged, so this is a good chance to catch him early on.
He's not on his own for the night: EDBL opens for him, with the two sharing the bill. The show is standing, for ages 14 and over, and under-18s need to be accompanied by an adult.
Lantern Hall is one of the Bristol Beacon's more distinctive spaces. It's a small, chapel-like room of Victorian architectural beauty, with a high ceiling, high-quality acoustics and a flat floor that works in either seated or standing format. It's billed as the city's home of dazzling new music and a place to discover emerging artists, which fits the bill here.
