Improvisation show Lifegame, by Improbable Theatre and Good Chance, where a surprise guest sits with the cast.
Improbable Theatre and Good Chance are bringing Lifegame to The Weston Studio in Bristol on Tuesday 3 November. It's an improvisation show, so nothing is scripted, and the whole thing is built around a surprise guest who sits on stage with the cast throughout the night. The guest is the catalyst for whatever happens, and the performance is built from the ground up in front of you.
If you've never seen Improbable Theatre, they're well known for this kind of work. They've spent years specialising in improvisation, and Lifegame is a good example of how they do it. The show is a collaboration with Good Chance, and the two companies have worked together on this particular production. The format is simple: the cast and their guest take the lead, and the rest is made up as they go, so no two nights are the same.

It's playing at The Weston Studio, which is part of the Bristol Old Vic. The show runs on 3 November, and there's a second performance on 4 November, so you've got two dates to choose from. If you're into improv and want to see how a professional company handles it on the fly, this is exactly that sort of thing. You can find more details on the Bristol Old Vic website.
