The extraterrestrial band HENGE bring a live gig with a daytime family matinee and evening session.
HENGE play The Trinity Centre on Saturday 13 March 2027, with two separate shows on the same day: an afternoon family matinee and an evening session. The matinee opens its doors at 14:30 for a 15:00 start, and the evening show opens at 19:30 for 20:00. Tickets run from £21 to £55 plus advance and fees.
They're an extraterrestrial band from Manchester who've been playing across the UK and Europe for more than a decade. They picked up 'Best Live Act' at the Independent Festival Awards and have put out four albums, alongside their own comic book series. Their latest, Journey to Voltus B, comes as a double-groove vinyl with two possible endings depending on where the needle lands, and it's had BBC 6 Music support from Stuart Maconie, Deb Grant and Craig Charles.

They describe themselves as 'extra-terrestrial joymongers' and frame their music as arriving from distant planets with a message of unity and joy. Critics place their sound somewhere between rave and prog rock, so the two shows on the day cover different crowds: the matinee is a family affair, and the evening is a standard gig. Tickets are £21 to £55 plus advance and fees, with doors at 14:30 for the 15:00 matinee and 19:30 for the 20:00 evening show.
