Harriet Dyer: Easily Distra...

Harriet Dyer brings Easily Distra... to The Gaffe Comedy Club on Sunday 30 May 2027. It's part of her 2027 UK tour, and the Bristol date falls on a Sunday night.

If you haven't come across her yet, Dyer is an award-winning comedian, writer and mental health advocate. She picked up the Channel 4 Sean Lock Comedy Award in 2024 and the Neurodiverse Review Award for Neurodiversity Representation at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe. You might recognise her from Live At The Apollo on BBC Two or 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown on Channel 4. Much of her stand-up is rooted in her lived experience of being bipolar, and she also created Barking Tales, a monthly mental health comedy night.

Easily Distra... started as a show about her own questionable attention span, and it's since become more personal while keeping the whimsy she's known for. It's a bit of a return to basics for her: after a few high-concept shows — one in 2019 was performed entirely in a sweaty T-Rex outfit — she's gone for a no-whistles-and-bells approach. The show was nominated for Best Show at the Edinburgh Fringe 2026, and that same year she made her debut at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

The show starts at 19:30, with doors opening about half an hour before. Tickets start from £20.
