Concert by the Dublin post-punk and noise-rock quartet Gilla Band, with support from Silverwingkiller, at the Trinity Centre.
Gilla Band play Trinity Centre on Wednesday 10 February 2027, with support from Silverwingkiller. It's part of Beyond Beacon, the series Bristol Beacon runs to put ground-breaking artists in local venues like Rough Trade, Strange Brew and Trinity.
For more than a decade, the Dublin quartet have worked at the outer edges of modern guitar music, twisting noise, repetition and intensity into something entirely their own. Their sound resists easy categorisation, sitting somewhere between post-punk, industrial, noise-rock and electronic experimentation, and they're known for live performances that feel both confrontational and hypnotic. Far Out magazine called them one of the most fearless and uncompromising acts around.
Formed in Dublin in 2011 and releasing records through Rough Trade, they've built a following across Ireland and the UK. The night is part of Beyond Beacon, Bristol Beacon's series that spotlights ground-breaking artists at iconic local venues including Rough Trade, Strange Brew and Trinity.
