A gig by Anna Colette, blending Americana and Western influences with alternative pop, folk and ethereal textures, at Bristol Beacon's Weston Stage.
Anna Colette plays the Weston Stage at Bristol Beacon on Friday 23 October, with the night titled Get Out Of The Wayside. She's a Bristol-based artist who grew up on the pink shores of Bermuda, and she describes the sound she's bringing to the stage as 'Dark Ethereal Western'. It's a mix of Americana and Western influences blended with alternative pop, folk and ethereal textures, all held together by her vocals, layered guitars, synths and full-band arrangements. Her songs tend to circle love, obsession and imagined worlds.
There's a narrative thread running through the newer material. Her latest single, 'WAYSIDE', continues the story she started with 2025's 'WHERE DID SHE GO', and the two together draw you deeper into her surreal Western universe. The show itself is a full-band affair, with cinematic music video screenings and Western-inspired visuals running alongside the music. She's also encouraging the crowd to lean into the theme: vintage, Western and boho attire are welcome on the night.
