Anesti Danelis

Anesti Danelis plays The Gaffe Comedy Club on Sunday 1 November, bringing his musical comedy to Bristol. He's a Toronto-based comedian and a viral hit-maker whose videos and songs have gathered more than a million followers and over 500 million views across social media, so if you've come across his clips online, this is a chance to see the live version.

He's spent a good deal of time on stage and in front of cameras. He's taped several televised galas for the CBC as part of the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, performed at Just for Laughs Montreal, and is a regular on CBC Radio's Laugh Out Loud and The Debaters. His debut show in 2018 was named one of the Top 8 Best Comedy Shows at the Edinburgh Fringe by the Amused Moose Comedy Awards, and his 2019 sophomore show was taped as a UK comedy special. More recently, his 2024 show Artificially Intelligent won The Second City's Best Comedy Award and the Patron's Pick Audience Choice Award, and he made his Australian comedy festival debut in 2026.

His stage presence is described as sharp, observational wit grounded in reality rather than exaggerated spectacle, played out with precision and warmth. It's musical comedy, but the songs are part of the act rather than the whole thing.

The night is at The Gaffe Comedy Club, 20 Wine Street, Bristol, BS1 2BD. Doors open at 19:30, and the show runs from 20:30 to 22:30, including an interval. Tickets are £19.50, and it's 18+.
