Concert by Canadian avant-pop artist Allie X, with support from Boyish and BEKS, at the Trinity Community Arts venue.
Allie X plays Trinity on Tuesday 20 October, as part of a UK tour that also stops in Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham and London. She's a Canadian avant-pop artist whose sound pulls from synth-pop, electropop, indie pop and goth-leaning styles, and she'll be joined on the bill by Boyish and BEKS.
She first made a name for herself with the single "Catch", and has put out four albums since: CollXtion II (2017), Cape God (2020), Girl with No Face (2024) and Happiness Is Going to Get You (2025). Her work is known for introspective lyrics, theatrical visuals and queer themes, and she's collaborated with Troye Sivan, Mitski and BTS. The critical attention has translated into a longlist for the 2024 Polaris Music Prize.
