Stand-up comedy show by Alan Carr at the Bristol Hippodrome, exploring his talent for oversharing and tales from the 'Traitors' turret.
Alan Carr returns to the Bristol Hippodrome on Thursday 14 October with his new stand-up show, Have I Said Too Much?. The title does most of the heavy lifting here: the whole thing is built around his big mouth and his knack for oversharing, and that's exactly where he's most at home. It's a night of him telling stories about his own life, and as the name suggests, he doesn't hold back on the details.
The material pulls from a few different places. He talks about dipping back into the dating pool, navigating the green rooms of showbiz, and shares tales from the Traitors turret. If you've followed his career, that's the Carr you'll recogniseโthe one who treats his own mishaps as public property. The press has been kind, too: The Times called him a 'certified national treasure' and The Guardian described him as 'as endearing as ever'.

It's a full evening's outing rather than a short set. The performance runs about two hours, which includes a support act to open the night and an interval in the middle. If you're planning on drinks, there's a practical detail to keep in mind: the Hippodrome is now strictly cashless, and the ATG app lets you pre-order interval drinks to your seat so you're not fighting the crowds at the bar. Tickets start from ยฃ15, and the show is at the Bristol Hippodrome on St Augustine's Parade, BS1 4UZ.
