Town of Cats, a nine-piece ensemble, are scheduled to perform their set, which incorporates elements of afrobeat, latin rhythms, and 80s pop, often accompanied by poetry and synthesiser solos. They are joined by Binbag Wisdom, a group from Bristol who are presenting their theatrical hip-hop work titled 'The Ballad of Wee Willy Winky' or 'How to Find Purpose in a rap desert'. This performance features MCs Jake Blackmore and Jack Wisdom, with Ritchie Fitz on DJ duties. The lineup is completed by Brassic Parp, who provide a set of 90s and 00s pop hits. Their performance is notable for being delivered by a seven-piece string section, with the musicians appearing in Jurassic Park-themed costumes.
If you are planning to attend, tickets are available at £18 for standard entry, with a concession rate of £12, and it is recommended to secure these online in advance. The event is restricted to those aged 18 and over, and the venue maintains a policy that does not permit children under two years of age. Given the nature of the performances, there are content warnings regarding the use of strong language, loud noises, and references to drug and alcohol misuse, as well as themes related to mental health. Regarding accessibility, the Caravanserai site is equipped with wheelchair access and accessible toilets, and assistance dogs are permitted on the premises. This event brings together three distinct styles of performance within the Klub Kaput space, providing a full evening of entertainment for those interested in the local music scene.
