A live immersive social deduction game where players are sworn into the Council of Vampire Slayers and must identify the infiltrators through challenges and council meetings.
The Slayers is back at Preston Manor on the 3rd, 10th and 24th of October, running from 6:30pm to 9:30pm each night. It's a live social deduction game set in the Council of Vampire Slayers, and the whole thing takes place inside Preston Manor, which is widely known as Brighton's most haunted building.
When you arrive, you're sworn into the ancient Council of Vampire Slayers, only to find out that its ranks have been infiltrated by vampires. Everyone is assigned a role: you're either a Slayer or a Vampire. The Slayers spend the night competing in challenges, brewing holy water, sharing garlic bread recipes and gathering information, all with one goal in mind: voting out the impostors before it's too late. The format alternates between council meetings, where accusations fly, and team challenges, so you're never just sitting around.
It's an original production by the team behind Pier Pressure Escape Rooms, run by Phil and Philly, whose award-winning escape rooms have built a following across Brighton. They've been staging this with Brighton Museums since their partnership began in 2019, and it's an independent Pier Pressure production, not affiliated with any television programme or third-party brand. If you're familiar with social deduction games, the format draws on things like Blood on the Clocktower and Werewolf, and shares a certain spirit with The Traitors, Secret Millionaire and Taskmaster.
