A live immersive social deduction experience where players work together to uncover hidden enemies and decide who gets 'slayed' in the Council of Vampire Slayers.
The Slayers opens at Preston Manor on Saturday 18 July, and it's a bit of a strange one. It's a live immersive social deduction experience set inside the ancient Council of Vampire Slayers, which has been infiltrated by vampires. The whole thing is put on by the team behind Pier Pressure Escape Rooms, so it's got that same puzzle-solving, high-stakes energy they're known for.
If you're not familiar with social deduction, it's the kind of thing where a small group of people work together to find a traitor in their midst. The team says they've taken inspiration from games like Blood on the Clocktower and Werewolf, and TV formats like The Traitors, Secret Millionaire, and Taskmaster. Over the course of three hours, you'll move between council meetings and interactive challenges, working with the other players to uncover the hidden enemies, gather information, and form alliances. The whole point is to figure out who's a vampire and who's a slayer before it's too late, and then decide who gets 'slayed' as the battle plays out. Because it's a social game, no two sessions are the same.
