A relaxed night of live music designed as a pre-game option for those heading out for clubbing in Brighton.
The Brighton Warmup kicks off at Laughing Horse, the bar inside the a&o Hostel at 41-42 Old Steine, on Saturday 4 July. It's a live music night that runs every Saturday through to 26 September, so if you miss the first one, there are plenty more to follow over the summer.
The whole thing is set up as a pre-game option for anyone heading out to the clubs in Brighton. The idea is to start your night with live music and a few drinks before the main event, rather than jumping straight into the late-night scene. It's a relaxed way to ease into a Saturday night, and since it's in a hostel bar, it's open to guests, people meeting up with friends, or just anyone passing by who wants to stop in.
On the music side, the first session features Matt, who'll be taking the stage for the opening night. The night is built around live performers, drinks from the bar, and a lively atmosphere, so it's more of a social gathering than a formal concert. If you're in the city for the weekend and looking for something to do before the clubs open, it fits that gap perfectly.
