Ten56, a modern metal band, presents their new record 'IO' at Chalk in Brighton.
ten56. are playing Chalk on Sunday 6 September, part of their first UK and EU headline tour. They're out on the road with their new record, IO, which they put out earlier this year.
They've been around since 2021 and have made a name for themselves in modern metal, combining raw aggression with crushing production and a strong stage presence. Before IO, they released their debut album Downer, which got a good reception and set them up for the work that followed. Between the two records, they've spent time supporting While She Sleeps, Landmvrks and Northlane, and have taken their music across the USA, Japan and Australia. This run is their first time heading out as the main act across the UK and Europe, so the Brighton date is one of the first stops on that tour.
Since they're touring IO, that's what the set will be built around, with the newer songs taking centre stage. It's a good chance to hear the record as it was meant to be played, rather than just on a record player or through headphones. If you've followed them from the start, you'll also get to hear how the sound has shifted from Downer to here.
