A drag show celebrating the wedding of performers Percy Nyx and Robynn Banxx, with live entertainment from the Brighton drag scene.
Suspiria brings Drag Me Down The Aisle to Daltons on Thursday 17 September, a drag show built around the wedding of performers Percy Nyx and Robynn Banxx. The two are the night's wedding couple, and they'll be entertaining throughout the evening. It's a heterosexual union staged with a wink, and the welcome gift sets the tone: every guest is promised a rhinestoned piss bucket on entry.
They're not the only ones on the bill. Joining them are Ernest Device, Herr Maphrodite, Dame Deadly, Veronica Von BeaverHausen and Mandy Sweats, so there's a full line-up of the Brighton drag scene to work through across the night. Between the wedding couple and the supporting acts, the entertainment runs from start to finish rather than just a few sets with gaps in between.
It fits right into Brighton's relentless festival calendar. The city is a creative hub where barely a week goes by without something on, from the Great Escape in May to Burning the Clocks in December, and the live music, comedy and cabaret scenes thrive at venues like the Brighton Centre, Brighton Dome, Komedia and The Old Market. This is one of those nights that sits comfortably alongside them.
