A three-hour family event (ages 2-8) featuring the children's theatre show 'Oskar's Amazing Adventure', a craft workshop, and live music from Zimbaremabwe Mbira and Marimba Vibes.
If you're looking for a fun, creative outing for the family next month, the Sundae Club is returning to Komedia Brighton on Sunday, February 22, 2026. This popular event, held at the venue on 44-47 Gardner Street, is specifically tailored for children aged 2 to 8 and their families. Doors open at 10:30 AM, with the activities starting promptly at 11:00 AM. It’s structured to provide about three hours of entertainment, though some sources suggest the fun runs until 3:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the full program.

The program is split into three distinct parts. The main attraction for this date is the children's theatre show, Oskar's Amazing Adventure. Complementing the performance, the morning also includes a hands-on creative crafts workshop, which will be run by Saj from Pull & Pin. Finally, the energy levels are kept high with a family dance session featuring the resident band, Zimbaremabwe Mbira and Marimba Vibes. To ensure everyone gets a good experience, the audience is divided into two groups—Green and Yellow—where one group starts with the show and then moves to the crafts, and the other does the reverse.
When it comes to logistics, there are a few useful things to note. While you can grab ice cream sundaes, hot drinks, and snacks at the bar, families are encouraged to bring their own picnic or packed lunch. Komedia has also put thought into making the space accessible and comfortable for all attendees. They provide a dedicated 'breakout space' for children who might need a quiet moment; this area is equipped with dim lighting, a sensory tent, and ear defenders. If you plan on attending, tickets are £9 per adult and £9 per child, with a Family Ticket (entry for four people) available for £34. Remember that babies under two years old enter for free, but the venue requires a minimum of one adult for every three children. Also, due to limited space, they kindly ask families to try and avoid bringing buggies if possible.
