Children's theatre show by Komedia Productions for ages 2 to 8, followed by a creative craft workshop and dancing to the house band.
Sundae Club returns to Komedia Brighton on Sunday 22 November, the next date in its seasonal run for children aged 2 to 8. It's a three-hour session that moves through three distinct parts: a children's theatre show by Komedia Productions, a creative craft workshop led by Saj from Pull & Pin, and dancing to the house band.
Saj runs the whole thing, and the craft workshop is the middle act. The venue makes room for a picnic lunch, and the bar does ice cream sundaes, hot drinks and snacks throughout. If things get a bit much, there's a breakout space behind the stage with dimmed lights, a sensory tent, ear defenders and toys for children who become overwhelmed. It's a long morning, but the mix of theatre, making and dancing means it doesn't sit in one place for too long.
It's part of a seasonal schedule, so if you can't make this one, there are more dates: 24 January, 21 February and 21 March 2027. Reviewers have described it as an affordable kids' event at a venue they love.
