Open-air drone light show in which hundreds of glowing drones form dragons and mythical realms above Brighton, presented by Celestial.
Celestial are bringing Sky Kingdom to Brighton on Saturday 29 January 2027. It's an open-air drone show, the kind where hundreds of synchronised, glowing drones fly high into the night sky to form soaring dragons and mythical realms, with a cinematic soundtrack that syncs to their every movement. If you've seen their work before, you'll know the format: the drones act as pixels in the air, shifting and reforming to tell a story above your head.
Celestial are the runners-up from Britain's Got Talent, and they're one of the world's leading drone art companies. They first made a name for themselves when they partnered with Yuup, the marketplace for local experiences, to launch the UK's first paid-for ticketed drone light shows back in 2023. Since then, they've staged productions like A Christmas Carol and The Wizard of Oz, which have been seen by more than 130,000 people. Sky Kingdom follows that same line, blending light, immersive storytelling and music.
This one is built around the animal kingdom. The team says they've seen a clear desire from audiences to see animals brought to life in the sky, and Sky Kingdom delivers that with the dragons as the centrepiece. It's an outdoor show, so you'll be looking up at the night sky for the whole thing, with the drones and the soundtrack working together to build the scenes.
