Samuel Nicholson

Samuel Nicholson plays The Folklore Rooms on Friday 13 November, from 20:00 to 23:00. It's presented by Folklore Sessions, and he'll be joined by support on the night.

Nicholson is a songwriter and guitarist who describes himself as a cathartic songwriter, an impassioned singer and a gifted guitarist. His musical taste was shaped by Motown records heard in the car with his mother, hard rock passed down by his father, and his own forays into jazz, folk and experimental music. His album Birthday Suit followed years of searching and longing, and he's spent the past two years in the studio. This is one of three intimate headline shows he's returning to the stage for, with new music in sight.

The night is presented by Folklore Sessions, and it's an 18+ event. Tickets are £10 in advance and £11.25 standard, and the show runs from 20:00 to 23:00 at The Folklore Rooms, 12 North Street, Brighton, BN1 3GJ.
