A tribute concert celebrating the songbook of Leonard Cohen, presented by Irish singer-songwriter Pierce Joyce at The Folklore Rooms.
Pierce Joyce is hosting a Leonard Cohen celebration at The Folklore Rooms on Sunday 1 November, a night that marks ten years since Cohen passed. The evening is built around two distinct parts: Joyce opens with his own set, and then the room turns to Cohen's songbook. November 2026 is the tenth anniversary of the songwriter's death, and the night is framed as a way to remember him as one of the greatest songwriters and poets of the twentieth century.
Pierce Joyce, an Irish singer-songwriter, presents the evening and takes the stage first. His set starts at 7:30 PM, and after that, the focus shifts to the Cohen celebration, which gets underway at 9:00 PM. The two acts are separate, so you've got Joyce's own music to start the night before the room settles into the Cohen material.
