London four-piece band Saint Clair will perform at The Green Door Store in Brighton, promoting their debut EP 'Something To Be Said'.
Saint Clair play The Green Door Store on Tuesday 28 July, a return to the same room they played during The Great Escape earlier this year. The London four-piece are touring their debut EP, Something To Be Said, which comes out on 17 July — just over a week before this date.
The EP is four songs long and, as the band put it, looks at the transition from youthful hope to adult reality. The lead single, 'Gretchen', is a 'what if' love letter to a partner that explores the tension that builds in a relationship when life's responsibilities start to get in the way. It's a good place to start if you want to get a feel for the record before the night.
Behind the songs is a line-up that goes back to their university days in Wembley: Toby Bardsley on vocals and guitar, Lawrence Bordean on guitar, Adam Anderson on bass, and Beth Diana on drums. Diana joined in 2024 and brings nu-metal and hip-hop influences to the rhythm section. They've worked with studio engineer Andrea Cozzaglio, and they describe their sound as 'simple and human yet unique and relatable' — their aim is to be 'a songs band, not a musicians' band'.

It's a relatively new project. They launched in April 2026 with two sold-out showcases in London, and since then they've played Liverpool Sound City, London's 100 Club, and the London Calling festival in Amsterdam, alongside that Great Escape slot here in Brighton. This is a ticketed show, so you'll need to book in advance.
