The group is made up of childhood friends who have been playing together for a decade. They describe their creative process as egalitarian, which means every member contributes equally to the songwriting and shares the spotlight, whether they are in the studio or on stage. Their sound is built on what they call "brisk" harmonies and "easygoing" arrangements, often punctuated by "anthemic" choruses. The name of the band itself has a fairly simple origin: it comes from the family dog of one of the members.
They started out with their debut EP, Swabian Samba, back in 2018. This was followed by their first full-length album, Showtime, in 2019. Over the next few years, they released two EPs, Short Stories in 2021 and Goodbye Sunshine in 2022. Their second album, Soundtrack For A Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet, helped grow their international audience, leading to sold-out shows in cities like London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Lisbon.
For this tour, they are focusing on playing selected venues that played a role in their development, which is why they are stopping at The Hare & Hounds. The show is scheduled to run from 19:00 to 23:00. Tickets are priced at £20.20. Given the nature of the tour and the band's history of selling out shows in other European capitals, it is worth booking online ahead of time to secure your spot for the evening.
