Live show by alternative singer-songwriter Rachel Croft at The Folklore Rooms on North Street.
Rachel Croft plays The Folklore Rooms on Sunday 11 April 2027, a matinee that starts at 14:00. She's a London-based alternative artist, and this is a solo bill.
If you're not familiar with her, there's a fair bit to go on. Her work has appeared on Netflix and BBC 2, and Atwood Magazine describes her as an "emotive and uncompromising alternative artist at the top of her game", with a vocal range that runs from fierce power to deadly soft and a cinematic songwriting style. Her tracks have premiered on CMT, BBC Radio and Fresh On The Net, and have been played on rotation across UK retail chains including Tesco, Caffè Nero and Waterstones; she was named Caffè Nero Artist of the Month in February 2024 across more than 600 UK locations.
She's recorded at Abbey Road Studios and played venues like the Bitter End in New York, the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Bush Hall and Camden Assembly in London, as well as festivals including Cambridge, Secret Garden Party, Black Deer and Moseley, and more recently the Blue Room at the O2 arena. She's also worked with Gibson Guitars.
