Race Meeting

Brighton Racecourse is hosting an afternoon of flat racing on Thursday 1 July, with the first race off at 18:00. It's a seaside course up on Race Hill, and the whole thing is run as part of the Arena Racing Company Group.

If you've never been, it's a bit of a different beast from your usual track. It's one of the most exciting and vibrant courses in the South of England, and because it's right by the coast, it works as well for a proper day out with friends or family as it does for taking corporate clients along. It's a flat racing meeting, so you'll have horses competing over the turf throughout the afternoon, with the action building towards the evening.

The venue itself is part of the Arena Racing Company Group, and the racing programme there has been recognised with the ROA Gold Standard Award 2025, which is a bit of a nod to the quality of the racing they put together. If you're not usually one for the form, that's a handy bit of context to have before you head up.

It all kicks off at 18:00 on Thursday 1 July at Brighton Racecourse, Race Hill, Brighton, BN2 9XZ.
