Queer horror night with local music acts and film screenings raising money for The Clare Project, a charity supporting trans, non-binary and intersex people.
Half Blind and Hawkeye are putting on a queer horror fundraiser at Rossi bar on Monday 23 November, with the night running in aid of The Clare Project, a charity that supports trans, non-binary and intersex people. It's a cinema night with queer horror screenings, so if you've got a thing for the darker side of the genre, this is one to keep on the radar.
The bill is built on local talent, and the line-up for the evening is Creeping Embers, Gynoid, Livid, and State of Disrepair. Between the four of them, they'll be filling out the night, so you'll get a good stretch of the bill to work through rather than just one act and a quick exit.
Rossi bar is at Daltons, Under Brighton Zip, Lower Promenade, Brighton, BN2 1TB. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets on site, and they've put out a heads-up that flashing lights may occur during the night, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to them. It's a Monday evening, which is a bit of a change from the usual weekend slot, but it's a good one if you're looking for something to do mid-week.
