PRIDE edition of the popular musical bingo drag night at Brighton Music Hall, featuring Darcey Nox. Entry is free, followed by a legendary terrace beach party until late.
If you're looking for plans at the end of July, mark your calendar for Friday, July 31, 2026. The Brighton Music Hall is hosting a special PRIDE edition of their popular musical bingo drag night, this time featuring the local Drag Royalty, Darcey Nox. This event is part of a successful monthly series—though those usually happen on the first Friday of the month (with Ophelia Payne hosting the May, June, July, and August dates)—this specific PRIDE night is a standalone special. This isn't your grandma's bingo; it’s described as "Bingo with belting ballads," where the goal is to get everyone singing and dancing along to their favorite tunes while trying to win prizes. The Music Hall is located right on the seafront (BN1 2FN), making it a great spot for a summer evening out.

The evening kicks off with arrival time set for 7:45 pm, and the main bingo event runs from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm. While entry to the venue itself is completely free, if you want to participate in the bingo rounds for a chance to win the 'big kitty' prize, it costs ÂŁ4 per person. This ÂŁ4 fee also secures you an assigned seat, which is important because the organizers stress that prior booking is essential, as these nights tend to sell out quickly. If you decide to risk it, walk-ins are accepted only if capacity allows, but reserving ahead is definitely the safer bet.
Once the bingo wraps up at 10 pm, the atmosphere shifts entirely. The DJs take over for the 'legendary terrace beach party' known as 'Sun Beats Down,' which keeps the night going until late. If you are planning to go with a group, a unique feature of the Brighton Music Hall is the availability of their exclusive beach huts. These huts, which offer panoramic sea and stage views, can be hired for free. If you are booking and want to request specific seating or reserve one of these beach huts, you need to email the venue directly at info@brightonmusichall.co.uk to arrange the details.
