Monthly music residency featuring The Clubheads, Brainface and Design Fault, with all proceeds supporting Brighton Women's Centre.
The Clubheads, Brainface and Design Fault are playing Presuming Ed Coffeehouse on Sunday 30 August, from 19:30 to 23:00. The night is part of Hello, Brighton! The Pig, a monthly residency hosted at the coffeehouse on London Road.
It's a three-band bill that pulls from a few different corners of the heavier end of things. The Clubheads bring punk rock with its own enigmatic spin and a dangerously reckless stage presence. Brainface follow on with grunge rock they describe as something that'll melt your face and your mind, and Design Fault round it out with bizarre, heavy-hitting soundscapes. Between them, you've got punk, grunge and some heavier, more experimental territory on one night.
There's a bit more to the residency than just the music, too. All proceeds from the night go to Brighton Women's Centre, so whatever you spend on the door ends up supporting their work here in the city. It's a monthly thing, so if you're into this kind of line-up, it's one that comes back around every few weeks.
