Pleasure Incorporated

Jemima Foxtrot brings her one-woman play Pleasure Incorporated to Komedia Studio on Saturday 20 March 2027. It's a lyrical piece drawn from her own lived experience of escorting in Berlin and from her history as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. From there, it traces one woman's route to selling sex and how that spools out into her friendships, her relationships and into society at large.

Foxtrot describes the show as witty, sensitive and insightful. Critics have called it funny, moving and clever, and a rare blend of considered, comic, insightful and disarming. It's a one-woman show, so it's just her on stage working through the material.

It's staged at Komedia, one of Brighton's established venues for comedy and cabaret, in a city with a vibrant alternative scene of open-mic nights, poetry slams, drag nights and karaoke. The performance is for ages 16+ and seating is unreserved, so you'll want to get in early if you've a preference for where you sit.
