Overstep describes itself as a fresh events collective dedicated to showcasing the incredible talent we have locally, and this debut night is focused squarely on pushing the BN1 underground sound. They are promising a mix of high-energy breaks and pure jungle pressure, covering genres like Breaks, Drum and Bass, Old Skool, and Jungle. The lineup features a solid roster of local artists who will be taking over the decks, including Y1NKS, RIDDEMSDELL, Double Helix, Indo.P, O.Kaye, and TC Dinky. It’s a clear effort to give a platform to emerging artists within the city’s electronic music community.
The Tempest Inn is located right on the arches at 159-161 Kings Road Arches. For those planning to attend, the event is strictly 18+, so make sure you have your ID ready. Tickets are currently available through Skiddle, priced at £3.00. It looks like a straightforward, low-cost night focused purely on the music and supporting the local scene, which is always a good thing to see in Brighton.
