Seventh edition of the music festival on Brighton's seafront, featuring Pete Tong presents Ibiza Classics and Sonny Fodera.
On The Beach returns to Brighton seafront in July 2027 for its seventh edition, with the first names now confirmed. It's a split bill across two dates: Pete Tong presents Ibiza Classics with the Tom Richards Essential Orchestra takes Friday 9 July, and Sonny Fodera headlines Saturday 24 July. Todd Terry also plays on the 9th.
Tong's set is the one that'll likely draw the biggest crowd. He's spent three decades as a DJ, producer and BBC Radio 1 broadcaster, and Ibiza Classics is where he reworks dance anthems with a full orchestral sound. The Tom Richards Essential Orchestra handles the arrangements and the conducting; Richards also arranged and conducted RAYE's My 21st Century Symphony at the Royal Albert Hall. Fodera takes over on the 24th — he's a multi-platinum house producer whose album can we do it all again? reached the UK Top 20.
It's a big year for the festival, which launched in 2021 and won 'Best Location' at the Skiddle Awards. The seafront stage has hosted more than 40 artists across eight shows, with headliners ranging from Fatboy Slim, Madness and The Maccabees to Moby, Chase & Status, Above & Beyond, Bicep, Eric Prydz, Underworld and Carl Cox, alongside Royal Blood, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, The Libertines, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and The Kooks. An Economic and Social Impact Report showed the festival brought more than £8.3 million to Brighton in 2025, drew over 59,000 attendees and supported more than 300 jobs.

This edition also marks the festival's first expansion beyond Brighton. A sister edition runs in Great Yarmouth from 17 to 20 June 2027, with Olly Murs playing on 18 June. So you've got the two Brighton dates on 9 and 24 July, and the four-day Yarmouth run earlier in the summer.
