Sylvie Lewis hosts Notes, a night of soulful songs and wine pairings, at The Old Market on Tuesday 22 September. It's part of the venue's TOM Presents series, with the wines provided by Quaff Wine and a strict no-spitting policy in place.
Lewis is a singer-songwriter and wine educator who's lived and worked across the UK, the US, Italy and Spain. She graduated from Berklee College of Music before moving to Los Angeles, where producer Richard Swift recorded her first three albums. Since then, she's played festivals from SXSW to Glastonbury, written award-winning work for Italian orchestras and soundtracks, and recorded her fifth album, Lives Wisely (Clover Music Group). Now based in Brighton, she balances her time between songwriting, wine education and motherhood.
